Capgemini Honored as 2013 SAP® Pinnacle Award Recipient As Mobile Co-Innovation Partner of the Year

In recognition of its strong partnership with SAP (NYSE: SAP), Capgemini today announced it has received a 2013 SAP® Pinnacle award in the category Mobile Co-Innovation Partner of the Year. SAP Pinnacle awards are presented annually to the top SAP partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP and driving customer success. Finalists and winners in 19 categories were based on field recommendations, customer feedback and performance indicators in the following four categories: co-innovation, market expansion, service delivery and sustainability.

Receiving the 2013 SAP Pinnacle award as the Mobile Co-Innovation Partner of the Year is the result of over 18 months of close collaboration and co-innovation between Capgemini and SAP in the area of mobile technology. This includes co-development efforts on cutting edge direct store delivery and mobile sales execution solutions, the engagement of Capgemini as a global provider of managed mobility services, and cooperation on the extended portfolio of industry-specific mobile apps built on the SAP Mobile Platform. Joint customer wins over the period have also demonstrated the strength of the collaboration with SAP. This award builds on Capgemini’s previous receipt of a 2012 Pinnacle award in the category Transformational Award: Unwired Enterprise. Capgemini was also a 2013 SAP Pinnacle award finalist in two additional categories: Outsourcing & Cloud Services Provider of the Year and Quality Award Partner of the Year.

Olivier Sevillia, CEO for Application Services in Continental Europe at Capgemini, said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award in recognition of our innovation, quality of development, know-how in the mobile and consumer products sector and commitment to success. We are proud to be recognized with this award, which underscores our commitment to implement SAP solutions.”

The SAP Pinnacle awards showcase SAP’s commitment to its partner ecosystem strategy, which delivers unmatched value to customers and enables SAP to reach its business goals. Award winners will be formally recognized at SAPPHIRE NOW.
